External Supporting Program (12 cr total)

Feminist Studies Ph.D. students are required to construct a supporting program by choosing courses from outside departments that will complement and further their selected focus of study. The supporting program may include non-GWSS courses from the graduate course list above or from other
department course lists. Students may opt to register for a formal minor and, in that case, should check with the DGS of the outside program for specific requirements. Courses taken to complete the supporting program requirement may also be cross-designated to fulfill Feminist Studies program requirements up to the 6 credit maximum.
